Brenda Brydges, President


Ms. Brenda Brydges has acquired a Property Management Certificate and Real Estate Licence from the University of British Columbia.

Brenda’s property management experience, gained over the last 30 years, includes prior positions as General Manager and Executive Director of Operations for national property management companies.

In 1990, Brenda left Manitoba to study at the University of British Columbia. British Columbia had become the leader in condominium management in Canada, so Brenda knew that she would have to study in British Columbia in order to gain the experience and knowledge necessary to operate a successful condominium property management business.

While in Vancouver, British Columbia, Brenda worked with condominium corporations ranging in size from 800 unit 30 story high-rises to 30 unit bungalows. The majority of condominium building envelopes were experiencing substantial damage due to water leakage and Brenda gained valuable experience with products and procedures that have proven successful the eliminating water seepage and related issues.

Brenda returned to Winnipeg in 1996 and has operated her own condominium property management company since then. Brenda is actively involved with the Manitoba Chapter of Canadian Condominium Institute and she service on the Board of Directors. Brenda is also a member of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce.

Brenda is highly organized and possesses strong communication skills. In order to be the best, Brenda believes that you must specialize in one type of management. Your home and investment will be enhanced through her expertise in condominium management.


Ron Funk, General Manager

Ron brings an extensive history of client service to Brydges, having been an employee of the Royal Bank for 24 years, primarily in lending and branch management. This vocation took him to 14 different communities, towns and cities during his tenure and provided an opportunity to see how different communities and community organizations function. After leaving the bank, Ron took on the role of economic development officer for a community in Manitoba and then went on to become the General Manager of the Eastman Regional Economic Development Corporation, a joint venture between 27 municipalities, towns and cities. A seven year business venture in real estate followed in Penticton, BC, before returning to Manitoba in 2013, where he took on the role of property manager for a large holding of over 250 residential tenants and 20 commercial tenants. Ron set up the Brydges office in Brandon, Mb. in August of 2015.

In addition to his work experience, he has gained invaluable experience in the following roles and positions:

  • Four year term as Councilor for the Town of Carman, Manitoba
  • Past President of the Carman & Community Chamber of Commerce
  • Past President and 20 year member of Lions Club International
  • Past District Director, Central Plains, and Chairperson of Ducks Unlimited Canada, Carman banquet
  • Treasurer for many community non-profit groups
  • Past member of EDAM, Economic Development Association of Manitoba
  • Member of many fund raising groups, doctor recruitment and business recruitment committees
  • Past Chairperson and founding member of the Carman and Area Community Foundation Inc.

Ron has worked with many communities and groups on their plans and has experience in conflict resolution and strategic planning.

He looks forward to working with the property owners in the Brandon area and offering them the great Brydges management optons.
